Horse racing is the foundation of our industry and a powerful vehicle for building lasting connections within communities in and around our racetracks. Recognizing the importance of being a positive force in the neighborhoods where we live and race, NYRA is committed to addressing key social issues and being exemplary corporate citizens.

Whether through everyday acts of volunteerism or large-scale community initiatives, we are dedicated to giving back to the horse-racing community as well as the broader community. Our mission is to harness the power of sport to improve the lives of children and families in the region through purposeful programs, strategic partnerships, and philanthropic giving.

Donation Requests

In kind donations, known as Day at the Races offer smaller grassroots charities the ability to perform their own fundraising.  The popular Day at the Races package may include a race naming, winner’s circle trophy presentations and VIP tickets.  Charities are offered these packages as auction items for their events.
